About Us

Greetings and welcome to my cigar review blog.  As a cigar connoisseur, my goal is to publish an interesting collection of cigar reviews and add to the ever so growing cigar community.

Believe me, in no way do I consider myself an expert or authority in the world of tobacco and cigars however, I do understand that personal preference is a big part of the proficiency in cigar tasting and reviewing.

kyle…..I must say,the Padron Anniversary Series was outstanding! The environment in which one smokes always enhances the experience and to have the Padron by campfire on the banks of the Big South Fork river after a long day of whitewater canoeing was magnificent….thanks for the smoke!

Also, if you can ever find a cigar by the Indian Tobac, scoop it up….I can’t find them any longer. I’m afraid they are no more!

You have a very nice web blog, however some of your cigar fotos show a cigar that has been smoked way to short. 70-75% of the cigar is the right amount of a cigar to have smoked.

Thanks for the comment Johannes, however a cigar great once told me, “you should smoke a cigar until you feel done with it. That’s when you put it down.” I feel it is completely relative to the smokers’ choice when a cigar should be finished. Some people like to smoke further than others, some don’t. For me it really depends on the cigar itself. Some I smoke to the nub, others I choose not too. Thanks again for the comment!

I would like for you to sample our Dominican cigars for a review. You can contact me by phone at 809-853-6027. Originally from Texas I purchased this business with my partner from Argentina 4 years ago and have made a mark on the cigar market in Bavaro. We blend a very mild cigar for a nice change from the stronger more harsh tobaccos. I look forward to hearing from you, Lana.

    Hey Lana!
Let me first start by saying thank you for reading the reviews. As to sampling your cigars for a review on the website, we would love too. The only thing I ask is that you send at least two examples of the same vitola (two of the same cigar). I like to get a minimum of two samples so that the assessment of the cigar can be fair and consistent. Let me know what you need from here, as I am glad for the opportunity to work with you and your company. Thanks again!
